About FRAZER...

Frazer are a Sheffield five-piece who have been building a local audience steadily since charismatic vocalist and guitarist Ashley Clarke, lead guitarist Harvey Fletcher, bassist Andrew ‘AJ’ Battey, and drummer Alex Owen first got together three years ago. However it wasn’t until Matt Marsh joined the band on keyboards in 2014 when they fully realised their sound and began to fulfil their musical ambitions.

They moved swiftly from supporting bands like McBusted and Scouting For Girls and released their debut EP “Two Hands” to much critical acclaim in 2015. From there they have gone on to headline Sheffield venues including The Leadmill and The O2 Academy, play at Tramlines in successive years and have attracted interest from across the industry, eventually signing to NUA Records in 2016. Their songs demonstrate a riff-laden alternative rock sound infused with winning melodies.

When some of their demos came to the attention of renowned producer Dave Eringa (Milburn, Manic Street Preachers) he allegedly dropped what he was doing and insisted on meeting Frazer, who’s debut album he is now producing. With the first Eringa-produced single imminent, 2017 looks set to be the year Frazer hit the big time.
